MiSiS Updates – October 14, 2026

The following items have been enhanced/corrected in MiSiS:

Enrollment

• The Annual Forms Checklist screen has been corrected to ensure that search results include students enrolled at all schools sharing the same campus, rather than only those enrolled at the selected school.
• The Address and Phone Search screen has been corrected to display all phone numbers associated with a student’s MiSiS profile.

Scheduling

• The Change Student Section screen has been corrected to allow changes to required target sections.

Attendance

• The Teacher Roster screens have been enhanced as follows:
  • to display the teacher’s preferred name in the About Me section of the screen header.
  • to display two separate periods for sections scheduled during the same period when one has the Exclude Attendance attribute and the other does not, allowing attendance to be taken only for applicable sections.
• The Manage Teacher Class Attendance screen has been corrected to display the student roster for sections with the Section Attribute set to Exclude Attendance.
• The Contact Log screen has been corrected to allow users with the appropriate user role access to enter records for non-enrolled students.
• The Mass Daily Participation screen has been enhanced to display submitted participation records when accessed through Advanced Search > Action, Teacher Roster (for sections with the Section Attribute of Exclude Attendance), and the Extended Learning > Manage Attendance screens.

English Learner

• The RFEP Monitoring Letter report has been enhanced to display A-G on-track/off-track status and graduation year for students in grades 9-12.

Extended Learning

• The Attendance Summary Report - Extended Learning has been corrected to ensure enrolled students are displayed.

GATE

• The Manage GATE Student Verification screen has been enhanced to display the Verification Process Run Date as the Participation Start Date.
• The Manage GATE Student Roster report has been enhanced to exclude students whose Verification records have ended.
• The Manage Mass Student SAS Participation screen has been enhanced to consider prior-year SBA data and include a new Academic Marks criterion. The updated  Managing Mass Student School for Advanced Studies (SAS) Participation and Managing Individual Student School for Advanced Studies (SAS) Participation job aids are available on the MiSiS website.

Grades

• The Manage Grades by Class and Grades by Student screens, as well as the Elementary School Report Card (CA Content Standard) and Teacher Verification reports have been enhanced to update academic subjects and academic scores for the TK grade level.
• The Distribution of Marks and Class Rank reports have been corrected to display all genders.

Graduation Standards

• The Graduation Standards screen has been corrected to display LOTE credits accurately.
• The Graduation Eligibility Status for 2016 & Beyond report has been corrected to display the Grad Eligible value accurately.

Independent Study

• The Independent Study Teacher Roster screen has been corrected to display scheduled summer school students.

Linked Learning

• The Linked Learning/CTE screen, Work Based Learning section has been enhanced to include ‘N/A’ in the Performance Evaluation Score dropdown for Internships.
